Family painting from photograph

The colors that you sent for the painting are all on the dark side giving a darker hair color and darker shadows so the people in the picture don’t look like the people from the photo.

Memorial Painting of a dear friend

I did this painting for a greiving mother and father. It was the pastor and his wife who's son was killed in a horrible accident last december. The man was my kids Youth Leader. His name was Adam. He was an amazing human taken to soon. To see the tears in his parents eyes as they stared at their sons picture made my heart swell. They were so thankful for this beautiful memorial of their son. Attached is the Picture and me hugging his mom after she opened it. And a video of them opening it.

Loved this paint by number. The colors were beautiful and it was a very relaxing painting to do.

I impressed myself! 😊

It was a delight to paint these daisies!
However, many of the paints were so translucent that two coats of paint was necessary. I used a floating frame of a light walnut as an enhancement. Really like the way the whole painting turned out!
Thank you!

Bunnies for my granddaughters’ new bedroom!

I loved painting the Bunnies because I was doing it for my granddaughters new bedroom. It is very detailed. I’m learning more skills through it all.

Love Van Gough

Just finished this, love how it turned out. Since it was easier than most that I do, it was a nice change of pace. I wish you had more of his work. Now I have done the ones you carry.

Beautiful!!

I have done a fair few paintings now and this is definitely a favourite. Very intricate and time consuming but that’s what I love. Not finished yet but looks quite real, so well worth spending time on it. My sister has already claimed it when finished.

A bitter-sweet painting experience

I am thinking that this painting might display well in a den. The canvas utilized great combinations of all the colors provided. The numbering was so sparse, however, that I sometimes lost my way around the longer twisty lines and areas and the paper guide became my best friend. My feelings of sadness were from knowing that the era depicted in the painting is now pretty much behind us. When I spotted this work on MBN I immediately thought of my friend Ken, a respected artist known for painting classic cars as themes for his art. His subjects were usually in mint condition; but this painting’s chevy, which includes it’s rusted out front end and deflated front tires nonetheless seems to proudly stand amid the sidewalk’s trash and weeds. There is additional nostalgia in the surroundings of that older service station. I loved seeing the reflections take shape in the large windows of the building and in some of the chevy’s windows. One caution; you may want to purchase an extra paint kit as I did because several colors deplete quickly. The artist seems to love color #6. All in all, I found “Yesterdays Glory” a little labor intensive but it turns out to be yet another lovable work from “Masterpiece”.

Excellent!

My husband, James painted this one. He thoroughly enjoyed it and never lost interest. Hope there are more with the same theme. As always the quality was top notch.

Lovely extra paints

Thank you for the new paints for my picture Harbour Garden. I was really struggling with the old paints because the painting has taken so long some were partially dried up and one or two were completely solid! I’m really enjoying the painting again now, and really appreciate the unexpected new brush set. Thank you.

Lovely project

I love the colors and landscape. Wish I could shop at this market!

I did this painting after watching the Big Bear Lake eagles this spring and summer. It will remind me of them. Love the painting. Not too difficult.

Loved this painting. Fun colors and styles. I would offer some advice to future painters of this piece- all the colors will need 2 coats.

Really enjoyed!

I love daisies and was very impressed with how this turned out. I like the minis a lot and hope you make more

It’s coming along and I’m enjoying this painting very much. I’m a long way from finishing but I know I’ll love the finished painting.

Perfect!

We support a Children’s Advocacy in our county and this sunburst is the theme of a new fundraiser. I submitted the photo and had to patiently wait for it to be sent. I’m extremely pleased with the outcome and the colors are spot on! I had a blast painting it and can’t wait to use it in the fundraiser!

Great Painting

Lovely to do, not as intricate as some making it ideal for someone who isn’t as keen on the more fiddly ones. Looks great finished.

Sweet daisies

I enjoyed painting the daisies, but it certainly took me longer than an evening! I was a bit disappointed because the photo enclosed with the kit didn’t really match the painting, but I blended some areas to make it more cohesive and less “numerical”. And I’m very pleased with the result.
