Van Gogh - Sunflowers
Van Gogh - Sunflowers
Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh (1853 - 1890) - Van Gogh’s paintings of Sunflowers are among his most famous. He painted them in Arles, in the south of France, in 1888 and 1889.
Largely self-taught, Van Gogh produced more than 2,000 oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, and sketches, which became in demand only after his death.

Great fun! Probably my favorite so far. I've been doing some really challenging PBN's so kind of enjoyed the "break" of doing an easier one. I did find covering some of the numbers was difficult with the lighter colors but I probably water down my paint a bit too much. I've already got my next Van Gogh waiting for me!
I’m so happy with the paint by numbers product. Great quality and so satisfying hobby. Ready now for some new paintings.
This was my 5th MBN painting and like all the others was very unique, allowing me to focus on yet another artistic perspective. I find each painting a joy to complete and a very relaxing escape!!!
Really love how Van Gogh’s Sunflowers came out. From Masterpiece by number. I used two sets of paints because I wanted to do it with texture. I also changed the background to blue because I didn’t like the multiple colored background it came with. Canvas and Paints were excellent.
It was my first attempt to use this the technique of “painting by
numbers”. For debut I selected Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers”, because I thought that it will be easy enough to draw it by simple touching with a paint as Van Gogh did. But It was not! I tried to follow the guide as accurately as possible and sometimes felt myself a real “artist.” By the end of the work I developed a little experience to hold and use the brushes. Thank you very much for the high quality paint, brushes, and canvas. It has made my work much easier and more enjoyable. I am so happy with my finished “copy” of Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” and am looking forward to start my next project!
