Western Lowland Gorilla by Isak Pretorius - This wonderful painting has been created here at MBN as part of our partnership with award winning photographer, Isak Pretorius.

This lovely gorilla was photographed by Isak in Dzanga-Sangha Rainforest Special Reserve located in Central African Republic. This protected Reserve provides one of the last remaining wildlife refuges for species such as the forest elephant and the western lowland gorilla.

Isak Pretorius is a South African wildlife guide and photographer. He has won the most prestigious wildlife photography award, the BBC Wildlife Photographer Of The Year

We are delighted to create Masterpiece By Numbers from his photographs for you to paint.

Each Masterpiece By Numbers kit is produced with care and attention to produce a painting as close to the original artwork as possible.

The peace and serenity of painting is time well spent in our hectic world. The joy of painting this expertly detailed canvas will only be matched by the beautiful painting you will create.

Depressing.

Í found this painting a bit disappointing as the background colours were much darker/drearier than appeared in the advert. Thus it's turned into a very depressing painting in my mind

We've got answers

Got Questions?

I have never painted before, can I do it?

Yes, of course, you can! Paint-by-numbers kits are designed for all skill levels, including beginners. Our numbered system provides clear guidance, making it easy to create a stunning piece of artwork.

How long do your kits take?

The time required to complete a paint-by-numbers painting depends on the complexity of the design and your painting speed. It can take anywhere from a few hours to several days or even weeks to finish.

For mini kits, it typically takes around 2–4 hours.

What's included in your kits?

We provide a pre-printed framed canvas, numbered paints, a set of super cute pink brushes, and a reference image.

How long until you can get this party started?

All mini kits are shipped directly from Florida and arrive within 2–5 days.

Why can't I pick the number of colors?

There is no way to choose the number of paint pots for an image. If an image has 24 colors, there is no way to make it have 48 colors. Companies who allow you to choose the number of paint pots are just duplicating the colors and charging you more. Having more colors cannot make a painting more detailed. Details in the original image make paintings more detailed. MBN licenses all of our copyrighted images, so the number of colors is completely dependent upon the original artist's painting.
