-
1. Match
Start by matching the numbers on the paint pots with those on the canvas.
-
2. Dip
After identifying which number you want to paint, just dip your brush into the pot!
-
3. Paint
You’re all set to paint! For lighter areas, applying two coats is recommended.
I changed the colors a little bit. The original colors were too light and I had to go over them several times to cover the numbers. It was too orange and brown. So, I used my own colors and some of other masterpiece by numbers left over colors and made this creation my own colorful version. The results are awesome.
It is a pretty design; however, the light colors are difficult to paint. I ended up retouching all colors approximately 4 times to help coverup the numbers and the lines. If the numbers and lines were printed much lighter and the light colors were able to stick better it would be great.
Only started this a couple of weeks ago but have got into it, seems to be a lot of brown in this one but when I have finished it I might add some of my own touches to brighten it up. Took advantage of the free paint brush offer & must say so far very pleased with them even though I have previously bought my own brushes instead of those that do come with the kits.
Yes moore painting will be done now that winter is just around the corner then I will be looking to purchase another from Masterpiece.

I have just started my 9th MBN painting and it is my first for over a year. Last year I had to have an operation on both hands. This scene is so colourful which I love.

Your Questions
I have never painted before, can I do it?
Yes, of course, you can! Paint-by-numbers kits are designed for all skill levels, including beginners. Our numbered system provides clear guidance, making it easy to create a stunning piece of artwork.
How long do your kits take?
The time required to complete a paint-by-numbers painting depends on the complexity of the design and your painting speed. It can take anywhere from a few hours to several days or even weeks to finish. It's the journey though!
For mini kits, it typically takes around 2–4 hours.
Framed or unframed?
Our framed kits include our artist’s grade linen canvas on our patented frame that is also an easel stand. Our unframed kits come as a rolled canvas. See our video →
Why can't I pick the number of colors?
You can’t choose the number of paint pots for an image. If an image has 24 colors, it can’t be made into 48 — companies offering this are just duplicating colors and charging more. More colors don’t create more detail; the original artwork does. At MBN, we license all of our copyrighted images, so the number of colors depends entirely on the original artist’s painting.
Should I clean my brush?
Yes, it is advisable to clean your paintbrush when changing colors as well as after each painting session.
Clean your brushes with cool water and lay flat to dry.
