Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh (1853 - 1890) - Van Gogh’s paintings of Sunflowers are among his most famous. He painted them in Arles, in the south of France, in 1888 and 1889.
Largely self-taught, Van Gogh produced more than 2,000 oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, and sketches, which became in demand only after his death.
Now you can paint this wonderful painting with our amazing paint by numbers kit from our Old Masters Collection.

This was my first paint by numbers set. I absolutely loved it and found it to be very relaxing .
Sunflowers was my first experience with MBN and I really enjoyed it! I will admit that at first I was overwhelmed looking at all those numbers on that canvas, but I just took it one number, one area at a time and it became a very relaxing activity for me. I approached it by doing the background first, then the table, then the vase, and finally the flowers. Saved the best for last that way! It's become a great part of my evening routine to listen to music and work on a paint by numbers as a way to wind down. I just started on my second one and am excited to see the results.
This painting was special to do. As I was painting I actually tried to visualize Van Gogh himself doing the original.
I highly recommend this painting. The colors are vivid. The paint flows easily and the challenge is moderate.
It was such a pleasure painting this. I have gotten numerous compliments. I’m almost finished with my second painting, The end of a perfect day. I enjoy them so much. I will be ordering more.

Your Questions
I have never painted before, can I do it?
Yes, of course, you can! Paint-by-numbers kits are designed for all skill levels, including beginners. Our numbered system provides clear guidance, making it easy to create a stunning piece of artwork.
How long do your kits take?
The time required to complete a paint-by-numbers painting depends on the complexity of the design and your painting speed. It can take anywhere from a few hours to several days or even weeks to finish. It's the journey though!
For mini kits, it typically takes around 2–4 hours.
Framed or unframed?
Our framed kits include our artist’s grade linen canvas on our patented frame that is also an easel stand. Our unframed kits come as a rolled canvas. See our video →
Why can't I pick the number of colors?
You can’t choose the number of paint pots for an image. If an image has 24 colors, it can’t be made into 48 — companies offering this are just duplicating colors and charging more. More colors don’t create more detail; the original artwork does. At MBN, we license all of our copyrighted images, so the number of colors depends entirely on the original artist’s painting.
Should I clean my brush?
Yes, it is advisable to clean your paintbrush when changing colors as well as after each painting session.
Clean your brushes with cool water and lay flat to dry.
