Skaters Moon

I'm about 75% done with this one and despite having completed approx 2 dozen paintings, this one has been a struggle to keep at it due to what I consider to be needlessly over detailed and other issues. Large areas with numerous 'spots' within those areas which at times I just covered or went back and added to the area I painted over. Areas the size of the head of a thumb tack with 5 or 6 different sections. Difficult to see numbers even with a magnifier. Very narrow numerous adjacent straight areas about the size of the shaft of a straight pin. I resorted to using a black gel pen on the tree branches and building trim due to my ability level. Numbers often over lapping into adjacent area meaning you need to be careful you don't cover the number you aren't painting.
Some colors needing additional coats despite painting strokes both horizontal and vertical. Sufficient paint provided but strongly suggest additional detail brushes and a magnifier.
Despite still having a ways to go, I can tell it will be a nice addition to my winter collage of paintings.

I have done many of your paintings and appreciate the consistently high quality. This painting was particularly difficult, however, because it contained so many tiny areas. Even with the magnifying glass I couldn’t see the numbers and had to guess at the colors. Your paintings have been a very positive part of my retirement years and I will continue to enjoy them as long as I am able. After 49 years in submarine service I would love to have a submarine paint-by-number to add to my collection.

Very detailed , kit came quickly , packaging was intact. Excited to start!!
