Majestic bird

Quite the majestic bird sitting on the Ballard by the sea, as captured by James Houtman. If I could only paint as he, I trust my embellishments do not offend his eye!

I enjoy the Master Piece By Numbers and have many of their paintings. Thank you so much and I will continue to be a customer!

Murph the pelican

Ilthis was my first pain by number. I enjoyed the process so much, and the results were better than expected.

Great pelican. Not so great background.

I love the pelican on his perch. Enjoyed painting it and result is very effective. However background is not so good - large blocks of greys and browns that are not true to illustration. The two main shades of brown are indistinguishable and I ended up doing a bit of improvisation to get a result I was happy with. Overall, pleased with finished product though and looking forward to next challenge.

I loved painting this simple yet beautiful scene.
