I really enjoyed painting this masterpiece by numbers of the butterflies and birds. The Meadow Menagerie is captivating. I look forward to my next painting that I get to start immediately of "A Wonderful Day " This is so relaxing.
This was a very challenging picture. I usually can finish a picture in about two weeks but this one took me four. The finished picture turned out great and I am very happy with it. A couple of the colors did not cover well so it too two or three coats. In the end it came out great.
This paint by number canvas is absolutely gorgeous!
It was difficult, not for the beginner painter.
I love the overall look of the picture, but had difficulties with paint coverage on the yellows, whites and a few of the darker colors which made me feel like I painted the picture several times over. It seemed to become more of a chore I just wanted to get done at that point which took almost 2 months to complete. The texture of the canvas made painting with the black difficult as it wanted to skip as you tried to paint straight lines as well. The provided paint brushes aren't small enough for the tiny cells, so I did buy my own and there was plenty of paint without having to purchase extra. I wouldn't recommend doing as a first-time painter because of all its challenges, but it's a fun picture once completed regardless.
