Lancasters

I selected this kit because my neighbor flew them many years ago.
It was a challenge due to the small cells for about a third of the print.
The paints were good.
My neighbor is going to love it.

Love doing the Lancaster bombers

Received my 7th Masterpiece By Numbers painting recently The Lancaster Bombers. WOW what a fabulous painting to be doing, very detailed and lots of intricate sections but it will look fantastic when it is finished.

Lancaster Flight

This was my fourth painting and by far the most difficult one to complete, not for the faint hearted. The sky was easy and created a realistic backdrop. The planes were difficult but when completed and viewed from a distance looked great. The foreground was a nightmare, it was so detailed at times I felt like giving up on the whole project. At times I found it difficult to work out what colours I should be using even with the paper copy for reference. Because some of the areas were so small the numbers were printed in different orientations, was it a 9 or 6 lying on its side. However I refused to give in and after 4 weeks I finally completed it. Due to the time it took to do the painting I had problems with the viscosity of the paints.

Well worth the effort

This was my first painting by numbers and I was a bit overwhelmed when I first saw it out of the tube it was delivered in. Some parts were very intricate and being my first painting I doubted if I could do it. I set about tackling this first painting of mine and I must just say I enjoyed every minute. I then went on and did another 5 painting by numbers from your company and enjoyed everyone. Keep them coming masterpiece by numbers, can't wait for my next one
