Hummingbird by Joe Hautman - Ruby-throated hummingbirds are impressive birds. On average, they beat their wings 52 times per second. They can reach flight speeds of up to 63 mph to evade danger. They’re also endurance flyers.
When it comes time for their annual winter migration, these birds will start beating their wings and they won’t stop until they’ve covered some 1,300 miles — not bad for a bird that weighs as much as three paperclips.

I thoroughly enjoyed painting this, the numbers were easy to read and the colors are beautiful.
Pros - Fun to do, challenging, nice subject with detail , happy with the results.
Cons - A few of the colors were very thick and needed to be thinned, some others were so thin they required re-coating. both smaller brushes were bent and worn by the time I finished.
Overall good, but needs better brushes and paint.
I'm not very good at this but it came out beautifully. Considering I have one eye and shaky hands. Love it.
This was my first attempt at painting by number. The product was great and I am very pleased with the final result. This is going to my mother for her 97 th birthday who enjoyed watching hummingbirds over her lifetime.
