I enjoyed the painting. Now I'm waiting for 3 more PBNs!
I have done over 20 MBN paintings, and Courtyard Colors was one of the most enjoyable to do. It was fun and relaxing to paint, worked up quickly, and did not require the intense focus and concentration that are needed by some MBN paintings. This is because there are quite a lot of large, easy to see spaces to paint. This painting would be a nice choice for beginners and for more experienced painters looking for a fun project.
I think my effort turned out well- on gray rainy days I find myself wishing I could sit at the little table for a while, then meander up the stairs to see the sights! 😊
This delightful painting is on the top of the list of my favorites. The colors are vivid, creamy and easy to apply. The numbers are clear and easily readable. The degree of difficulty is average. Even though the enclosed brushes are quite adequate I find the 3/0 brush is often very useful. The framed picture is now on the wall with many of my others. I give 5 stars to MBN for the quality of their product and service.
Another exceptional peice of art from a company that consistently delivers quality items. I love this peice. I can imagine walking up those steps and wonder what I will find on the other side. Really lovely to paint, very enjoyable peice.
