First and foremost Thank You MBN for the wonderful opportunity you give to let us be creative. You have gotten me through the last few years feeling proud and accomplished. Along with all the craziness in the world, my own little world is demanding taking care of my husband who has Alzheimer’s. I can escape for a few minutes each day and he enjoys watching me and the finished product also. This is my fifth and I personalized by painting the chairs to replicate chairs we actually had during happier times. I do hope the artist does not mind. This was the most fun I’ve done yet other than my first..The Pelican. I love all the colorful flowers. Really wish we could find this place and enjoy the view!
This was my 12th painting from Masterpiece. Very colorful. One of my favorites. Not too hard. People keep trying to steal my paintings. Wonder where they will all be in a hundred years?
I finished Clifftop Rest today. It seems like the best way to paint broad areas is to use the larger flat brush to cover all but the edges of the space then go back with the smaller brush to complete the edges. I also found that for large convoluted spaces it helps to put small spots or brush strokes of the color like “bread crumbs” to make sure you paint the entire space. In my earlier paintings I missed spots and this helps avoid the problem. I love your products.
