Very nice test

Another very enjoyable painting to test the grey matter. I like the almost shabby nature of the building it reminds me so much of numerous canal side eateries in various European cities.

BISTRO BLISS

BISTRO is calling all food painters! I have a Bistro sign in my eat in kitchen area so this quality old world painting was a must do for me. It is very detailed which I like, and takes patience and a tiny brush in many most cells. Had plenty of paint. Keep your paints moist with water droplets and there is no fear of running out. The picture is darker than cell phone picture shows but still so nice when framed out, it all pops!
I was not disapointed with finished work! A Joy to display and see as we enjoy our own Bistro home restaurant space!

This is one of my best so family and friends tell me. And I really enjoyed doing it.Got pride of place on the wall and not just stacked in the spare room.

Another favorite

I need a wall to hold all my italian and french bistro/ waterfront pictures. I love the colors. There's something about that bold orange that is just so striking And.... only two chairs. I have decided that I hate painting chairs

Very disappointed

I’ve order many PBN kits from this company and I’ve always been very happy with all my orders. But not this time. Some of the paints in the kit were clearly wrong which I realized when I started painting the lower right corner. I wasn’t that upset with that, mistakes do happen. When I emailed MBN with this issue, I was told: “ You have the correct paint set and cannot know how a painting will turn out by looking at one small area or just the paint pots. Paintings are meant to be viewed as a whole, rather than just one small area. Once the entire painting is completed and viewed as a whole, the colors will blend.” I don’t need to finish the entire painting to see that the section is not coming out right. There are plenty of other companies that sell PBN kits and I will buy from them in the future.

Your Questions

I have never painted before, can I do it?

Yes, of course, you can! Paint-by-numbers kits are designed for all skill levels, including beginners. Our numbered system provides clear guidance, making it easy to create a stunning piece of artwork.

How long do your kits take?

The time required to complete a paint-by-numbers painting depends on the complexity of the design and your painting speed. It can take anywhere from a few hours to several days or even weeks to finish. It's the journey though!

For mini kits, it typically takes around 2–4 hours.

Framed or unframed?

Our framed kits include our artist’s grade linen canvas on our patented frame that is also an easel stand. Our unframed kits come as a rolled canvas. See our video →

Why can't I pick the number of colors?

You can’t choose the number of paint pots for an image. If an image has 24 colors, it can’t be made into 48 — companies offering this are just duplicating colors and charging more. More colors don’t create more detail; the original artwork does. At MBN, we license all of our copyrighted images, so the number of colors depends entirely on the original artist’s painting.

Should I clean my brush?

Yes, it is advisable to clean your paintbrush when changing colors as well as after each painting session.

Clean your brushes with cool water and lay flat to dry.
