Howling Wolf

I loved painting this, I have painted many PBN from Masteroiece. A wonderful company to order from, and found this painting to be one of the easiest to paint. Its going to be a gift to my grandson.

The Wolves HB1253

The Wolves HB1253 from Masterpiece By Numbers. Started Dec 1st and Finished Dec 21st. Had lots of fun painting this. My family always excited every time they walked by my art table. I finally found something to make me enjoy my retirement. Keeps me productive and not always on computer games, tv, or books. Balanced my time between them all. This was my third painting. Only once did I stick a finger into a paint tube while changing my grip. Stuck to painting only one color at a time. Tried to rotate the pix clockwise since right-handed. Painted all the dark colors first and the light colors last. First time I painted a white color covering the lines, When I painted the adjoining color, I went over onto the white area since canvas color almost. Only couple of the numbers straddled lines instead of being inside the center area, but the number map always fixed that. I love nature, animals, landscapes. So, this painting is a win win for me. This review did not let me add the 50sec video of the making of it. Have a custom photo to work on next before starting into the boxes of framed and tubes of canvas.

Howling Wolves - thank you to health care workers

This painting will always hold a special place in my heart for 2 reasons: First, I painted this for my sissy in Bend who I love and miss dearly. Second, The Howling that signified a warm heart felt thank you to health care workers in New York at the same exact time each night during early Covid days. My dogs and i howled each night from California to thank health care workers! That’s for supporting my semi-retirement activities!

Wolves

I really enjoy painting this. I would say this is for beginners. This is the first paint by number from here and I definitely will be ordering again. I have plenty of paint left over. To me if you stay in back and look at the picture it kinda looks 3-D. Now I am working on some other ones that I have purchased.

More grey than I expected

It looks great in the original photo but I didn't love how grey the whole background turned out with the random splash of lavender at the top of the sky. The small photo with the paints made it look like the whole background was shades of lavender which looked a lot better. I ended up getting my own paint and winging it. The wolves still turned out great and can't beat the quality of the canvas.
