This was my 4th Masterpiece by Numbers painting. I challenged myself to try and paint this one similar to the original artist but still make it my own. I used numerous colors from all 4 of my Masterpiece by Numbers paintings. Of my 4 paintings, this one took the longest only because I wanted to add lots of fine details and it took me a while to figure out how to do that without following the actual pbn lines. I love Masterpiece by Numbers products. I started my 5th Masterpiece painting "Mountain Train" and I'm basically painting it Bob Ross style.
This was my second attempt at one of your paintings. While I'm not very artistic, I found this to be a fun adventure and was very happy with the results.
This is one of the easier paintings, which makes it enjoyable and you can take your time. I love how the dark and light come together.
Not really certain if I'll frame this one, but it is kind of cool the way the paints make it look really lit up. Very nice depth perception or 3D effect. #11 & #14 were both very transparent, and a pain to paint and get the results I'm happy with. All the others covered well requiring less touch up than some paintings I've done previously. It was very enjoyable to work on this piece.
I purchased the 2 Venice paintings available at MBN because of going there for an anniversary so wanted to do these paintings. It was relatively easy to do, the most difficult part was the metal fence, you will need a fine brush for that part. I’ve done quite a few of MBN now and never been disappointed so far.
