Having just returned from a short break in Venice, I was looking forward to painting the Masterpiece by numbers ‘Venice Canal’
Another lovely picture with great colours and detail
Too much black, dark brown, and bleak. I’m a retired airline crew member and spent many layovers in this beautiful city. This was my first PBN and I didn’t do the city justice. Needed better quality brushes, especially for finer detailed areas. I’m going to hit a local store to see what paint I can add that will brighten the painting.
This is my first paint by numbers painting from Masterpiece. I did one other very simple one in oils from another company.
I prefer acrylic by far.
This picture is almost too dark in many areas. The detail in dark areas is barely noticeable but overall I like the painting. I'm not finished yet but should be very soon. This is a good training ground for my next picture which is a daylight scene and is quite detailed.
This was an enjoyable experience. I have visited this beautiful city. The final product seemed too gloomy and blurry in my humble opinion so I took the liberty of adding more detail. I’m pleased with the result. I look forward to doing another Masterpiece by Numbers.
