I love to imagine watching this battle in real time. The painting captures well the waves and ships in a very unique way. Love the result. I'm addicted.
I had such a blast painting this, it’s all I ever wanted to do from when I woke up, to getting back from work. It arrived in great condition and all the proper materials needed. It was simple and straightforward I didn’t have to think about what I was painting, but it was also engaging enough to keep me wanting to do it forever. I was excited to complete it but also sad that it ended, so I am very tempted to treat myself to another one in the future! My painting hangs proudly on my wall, inspiring adventure and imagination.
I really enjoyed painting this. Two adjoining colors on the sails were almost identical, so I lightened one a bit by mixing a little with the lighter paint in the next pot, and it came out great. I’ve always loved movies set in an England or New England locale, with a paneled library and a nautical painting over the fireplace, so this one really spoke to me!
