This was the most complicated one I have done.. but I knew it would be.
It was delightful to see it evolve.
It has turned out to be the best so far.
Brushes and paints more than adequate.
What a beautiful picture and the whole kit is of excellent quality. It all arrived extremely well packaged.
I bought this for myself to try and get back into painting and as something to do in the evenings when I get home from work. In hindsight, I should have chosen a slightly easier piece to start with as this particular painting features a lot of very, very small parts (almost dots) that risk blending in to each other. That said, as I work away (I'm about 70% complete) it's slowly coming to plan and does look pretty good. I've found the whole experience very relaxing and a lot of fun and I am looking forward to purchasing my next kit (which will probably be easier to complete!). The kit itself comes with everything you need including the brushes and the paint pots are all correctly numbered so it is very easy to follow. While some colours run quite low on this piece, ultimately you don't need to buy anything else. I was also impressed by the quality of the canvas paper it is printed on as well; it doesn't get wet from the paint and stays solid for painting and repainting should you make a mistake. All in all, I am very happy with the outcome.
Massively difficult, some of the numbers were so small you couldn't read them. The brushes were not adequate for the type of painting. The picture above does not relate to the painting. That said, it was fun, and for me good training as I brought three more pictures. The other main thing, the paint does not spread nicely on the canvas. So you have to go around twice to get the effect.
It’s a good way to relieve stress as when you’re painting you’re not focusing on anything else - haven’t finished it yet so I can’t say anything about the painting itself
