My first MP painting and it came out good. I did buy a few detail paintbrushes to finish it. Amsterdam is next.
This turned out better than I expected, and I like it more than I thought I would . This was my sixth pbn project, I have picked a few tricks. Having good brushes is all important. The 5 piece brush set that you sell has been the best I have found.
My daughter and son-in-law bought this for me for my birthday in August last year and it was the best thing to do through the winter months. It's the first Masterpiece By Numbers I have done and I enjoyed seeing the picture develop as I completed it. I found it difficult to put it away for another day! I'm looking forward to starting on the Arc de Triomphe next - it will be my winter project this year and will be even more valuable to do if we end up in another lockdown. I was very impressed with the quality of the canvas, paints, brushes and the detail that ensured a fabulous finish.
It was a little trickier than I expected to paint tiny spaces. When it was completed, I wasn't sure it looked like it was supposed to until my husband took a photo of me holding it. Then I could see that it was what it was supposed to be! I found it very calming to work on it and have already ordered more.
This is my 6th masterpiece by numbers, and this one took longer than the other 5, just because I got a bit less time for this.
But I'm happy it took time as a video on how to blend colours for clouds was just out the other day so I could try it on this one. The result in my opinion is much more natural looking.
On to the next one soon 😊
