Gift for Kelly.

Very pleased although some of the areas to be painted had no color identification, also the brushes could be little finer eg.20/0 to paint the more detailed areas. This has been the fourth painting I have finished and have been satisfied with all.

Summer in venice

Summer in venice is my 6th masterpiece painting. It's the most detailed so far and takes more patience and determination in painting. As you see its been 45days and I'm not done yet.. But this will be an eye catcher when it's custom framed and displayed.
I would not choose this one for my first painting but now I'm ready for its challenge after learning from my other great masterpiece paint by number pictures. I did purchase VERY TINY brushes and use them most of the time on this one, plus magnification glass helps also.. Good tools to have on hand. Plus keep water for droplets into paints for smoother applications.. Don't let them dry thicken by leaving open with use.
I love this company and their service and contact.. The best you will find for quality!
The brushes sent with paintings are good but sometimes I need just a few hairs to get thin lines perfect!
If you love the masterpiece painting you pick, like summer in Venice you won't mind the challenge and time spent on your beautiful craft painting.!!

Great new hobby!

Well, I must say I think I picked one of the most difficult paintings in the inventory for my first attempt. It was reeeeeeeally intricate and detailed. But I am detailed oriented and persistent and I persevered. Two things helped: (1) I scanned the template into my computer in two sections and saved it as a PDF on my iPad so then I could pinch and expand each section that I worked on so I could see the numbers easier. (2) Unfortunately I couldn’t pinch and expand the canvas and even though I wear reading glasses it was still difficult to see the numbers on the canvas so I caved to advertising and bought a pair of those magnifying glasses with the little lights. I didn’t need the lights but the additional magnifying really helped a lot. I agree with some other reviewers that the colors are a little different and seem a little darker on the painting especially on the brown building and in the water. So I smudged and blended and lightened some of them up. Overall it kept me busy for several hours a day for almost a month and I’m very pleased with the outcome and have gotten compliments on my finished picture. I’m sure I’ll be trying another painting soon!
