Poppy Fields Near Argenteuil By Claude Money (French, 1840–1926) - Claude Monet painted The Poppy Field in 1873 on his return from the United Kingdom (in 1871) when he settled in Argenteuil with his family until 1878. It was a time that provided the artist with great fulfillment as a painter.

I've always liked to paint but didn't feel I was very good at it... But this makes it doable. And I feel so accomplished. I mean it LOOKS like a painting! I can't wait to order another one.
I got this paint by number as I love impressionistic paintings. The quality of both the paint and the canvas was great. I have almost finished the painting. Doesn’t look as good as Monets work but very very pretty!! I wished they had made the paint by number slightly more intricate so that it looked closer to the original. I am looking forward to framing it. I loved it so much that I have ordered some of the animal scenes for myself and my son to do. I am not ordering from anywhere else!
Canvas was perfect. Smooth, no wrinkles and easy to read. Good quality of paints.
Still working on it but enjoying it!
I received the painting package in the mail and was immediately impressed with the packaging, how it was protected and all ready to go.
I was further impressed with the quality of the canvas and I can't wait to get started painting.
Happy Painter Lisa
