I gave it a 4 because the colors were a little different from the example, however it turned out beautifully. This piece was my first, and some of the numbers were very difficult to see even with a magnifying glass. Some spaces had no numbers at all, so I used my judgement to fill those in.
I would not recommend this piece as your FIRST painting, however as I said, it did turn out beautifully and I am anxious to see what it looks like when I get it back from the framer.
this one was extremely difficult but very rewarding! it made a great mother's day gift.
I started doing PBN in June of 2020. This is my favorite so far. Beautiful details. It is the only one I kept for myself. Still trying to decide which color frame I like best.
This was my first paint by numbers. It's a gorgeous painting, and I'm so happy I did it. The canvas and paint are high quality. Part way into it, I bought the 5 piece brush set, which made the finer detail easier to do. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the color palette is a bit different than the original painting shown on the website. The paint by numbers version has a lot more gray, celedon, and ochre whereas the original painting is more blue and soft yellows; also, the original has more background detail. Those are quibbles. I am definitely going to do more of these paintings.
